Week 8 - Prototypes
- The four categories of prototypes are role, integration, implementation, and look and feel.
- The purpose of example 2 was to “get feedback from users as quickly as possible as to whether the look and feel of the handle box user interface was promising.” The main purpose was testing look and feel, not to explore how a final artifact would be implemented. The purpose of example 3 was to explore rendering capability and performance.
-Example 7 is an example of a role prototype; it describes the role that the notebook would play in a user’s life.
- Example 10 is a look and feel prototype. It gave feedback on what physical form would be best for the user.
